Solace

A stretch of coastline photographed from directly above, where pale shallow water meets a dark spur of vegetation and rock. The water grades from near-white at the sand edge through mint to deep green as the depth increases, and the land pushes into it as a single irregular dark mass.

Nothing in the frame is built or placed. The composition is entirely the work of the coast itself — one soft boundary between two colours, seen from the only angle that shows it whole.
