Pursuit

Shot from directly overhead, five USA Olympic speed skaters carve a diagonal line across the ice — each one a fraction of a second behind the last, bodies locked in perfect synchronized stride. This is pursuit: the discipline where milliseconds divide champions, where the team moves as a single accelerating machine.

Captured from above, the composition strips away the arena, the crowd, the scoreboard — leaving only the pure geometry of athletic motion against a field of white. The result lands somewhere between sport photography and abstract art.
