Golden ratio

Shot from directly above, a line of ballerinas in white tutus curves across a field of saturated red, the spacing between them tightening as the arc turns in on itself. The proportions are deliberate — each dancer set at a distance that keeps the eye travelling inward rather than stopping.

White tulle against flat crimson leaves nothing to distract from the geometry. There is no floor detail, no horizon, no scale except the dancers themselves, so the image reads first as pattern and only afterwards as a photograph of people.

Golden Ratio is one of the most requested prints in the collection, and it is easy to see why on a wall: bold at distance, precise up close.
